Just the job.
Same type I used as quite a few years, until I forced through to many sheets, entirely my own fault, shearing teeth on drive cogs. They are very robust machines and will last for years,as long as you just don't feed to many sheets. Well pleased with my purchase and transaction. Good, but only with small paper loads
This shredder is fine if you have a small paper load to get through, but with anything in the hundreds the cogs wear down or the 'teeth' break off making it unusable. With a spare to hand and the correct crosshead screwdriver a fix is relatively easy task, a simple case of taking the missing cogs from the disused shredder. Perfectly serviceable till a point and still pretty cheap. Also, do stick to the one sheet recommendation given! 3 stars is OK, which is about right.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Convert to machined shedder
The quality of it seems really good but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend doing more than one sheet at a time even though it says it can take two it sometimes should shred properly with two sheets. As u can image it can be abit of an effort to crank it manually. But I used my drill on the knob you attach the crank to it and it became a electric shredder. Don’t go too powerful and hold it straight and you’ll be sweet! Better than a compact electric one as those motors over heat quicker and don’t really last. This will last depending on your drill quality :P but again if you do this hold it steady and don’t go to fast as you might break the shredderVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great little shredder for the price.
After spending weeks trying to repair or find a new handle for my old manual shredder,i was surprised to find the exact same model on ebay at a great price.Its ideal for home use just shredding bills and receipts.I don't see the point of the C.D and credit card slot as you only have to fish out the plastic from the paper.Plus it puts extra strain on the plastic handle.Much easier to cut them up with scissors.Its size means it doesn't take up much room.I only have to empty the clear waste bin probably once a week.A great little shredder.I got ten years out of the old one till the handle broke.So if i get another ten years out of this one i will be happy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good shredder; worth the money
My electric shredder had died and I needed to replace it. I wanted to buy a manual shredder as I had had one years ago but had been unable to find one that could cross-cut and didn't seem fragile. I have used the Peach shredder and can confirm that it is as described. I spent a good hour shredding personal papers but was able to watch TV, which I couldn't when using an electric shredder. I was initially concerned that the handle which is detachable would be lost or broken but due to the way it attaches to the shredder I would be able to replace it with a spanner, if needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Tool
As an occasional user I did not want the hassle of a battery operated machine so have always used mechanical ones. This shredder works fine with effective cross cutting. The CD and card shredder are a bonus. Don't know how good CD side is but card side is OK. Seems well built and I like the compact size.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Unexpectedly good
I didn't even realize its level3 (it makes confetti isntead of strips) when I impulsively bought it. Very sturdy too, unlike those flimsy chinese ones, it actually has the same mechanism as those big car destroyers, but in small. 10/10, would buy again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good little machine. Sturdy and doesn't take much place.
