Does what it says on the bottle
Purchased this glue to do a specific job of gluing a smooth plastic sheet to wood, which required the plastic sheet to be bent over to form the roof of a 16mm railcar. Holding the plastic in place with clothes pegs I left it overnight to set. In the morning I took the pegs off and there was the roof, perfectly and strongly glued in place. I highly recommend this glue for such jobs. It's done a cracking job. You don't need much glue and it dries clear. Wipe off any excess before it dries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect for card kits.
I had previously used UHU to build card kits for my model railway and was happy with the result. I would decant it into smaller bottles with a finer tip. Now I needed to build some smaller kits and needed an even narrower tip. I came across this glue online and it seemed to be what I needed. I can report that with the additional tip supplied it was EXACTLY what I wanted. I can now put the glue in exactly the right spot. One word of warning however! With UHU, once you have stuck two surfaces together, you have a couple of minutes to move them around into place before the glue sets too much. You only get about 10 seconds with this stuff! Perfect adhesive for modelling with card or light wood. It dries quickly, which means less attention needs to be paid to holding small parts together with your fingers, and forms a secure bond between surfaces to be joined. I've worked with card modelling all my life and have never known a better glue than this product. Very Good but nozzle very prone to blocking

I have tries various adhesives for assembling card kits & structures, this is by far the best I have tried. It allows time to make positional adjustments, then with the application of pressure makes an instant bond. Only a small quantity is needed so it is also economical. Perfect for model card buildings
Have now built several Metcalf model buildings over the last few years. I was recommended to try this product and I haven't been disappointed. The glue comes with a fine applicator (make sure it isn't missing - it should be attached to the outside of the bottle) so you can apply tiny amounts as required. It sticks cardboard almost instantly
It certainly sticks cardboard almost instantly but still allowing for slight adjustment, so much better than super glue. Its only a small container, but it only takes a small amount when constructing small cardboard mock-ups, so will last for quite some time.
