Very good hair clippers and good value.
A well designed hair clipper with 4 attachments - 3 for beards and one adjustable out to 23 mm for graduated trimming of the hair around neck and sides. The beard trimmers - even the 'longest' at 5 mm would keep a beard very short; the 1.5 mm would leave stubble. I found the 9-10 mm setting on the hair trimming attachment just right for a neat and well groomed beard. Without using the attachments the basic trimmer is very good, precise and effective. Virtually impossible to not accidently knock the height wheel when using it, as the wheel is also on the underside (not seen in the picture, unsurprisingly). Try using it and you will immediately see what I mean. One second your No.6 then suddently your No.1 ****!!! Did the designers not actually use this before manufacturing it? Really accurate clipper
I have rated this five star because of the accuracy of the settings on the clipper. For your head, you only need the one comb attachment and the length of cut is determined by the rotary control on the grip. Philips supply three combs for beard and moustache and are really good quality. At the full retail value I would probably have not bought this model as it is very expensive, but, I got lucky on ebay and won the offer I put forward. The charging is quite quick and the clipper will run on battery power giving plenty of charge to do any trim or cut without any problem and you have the option of a main electrical attachment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An Amazingly Worthwhile Additon.
My wife (the stand-in barber) and I shared some trepidation for it's first use on my over long hair during 2020's "lockdown". Why did we worry? Quality item from a re-known manufacturer.
We've used these clippers a few times now and they are much better than cheaper options we've had in the past. These were on a special deal, so the price of just over £30 delivered was outstanding. There are a couple of fixed grade attachments for beard trimming and sideburns, but the adjustable grade function with he click wheel is ingenious and only requires the one guide. The only negative is the storage case doesn't have any compartments to keep the items in, so they move around inside.
