A solid metamorphic library steps
A good modern take on an old solution. Very solidly constructed - in fact a bit too heavy really but just the thing for reaching higher shelves. Comes flat-packed and quite challenging to put together. It helps to have some of your own tools. Overall a very good value piece of furniture. Not as images and very uncomfortable and unstable.
This item when purchased it's nothing like the images listed. First, item has Sharpe edges all around and even the seat has very sharp all around it and If accidentally knock your hands on any corners it hurt very badly. The sitting area is reduced for no apparent reason and makes it very uncomfortable as a chair. The item in the listing has different colour and quality. Standing on it as a step ladder or library chair is very unsafe and unstable. All in all the item is not recommended and better to go for a more expensive one rather than an item that looks unfinished and unsafe to be picked even by hand as the sharp edges haven't been rounded off. Folding Library Steps - budget price / self assembly
Very pleasantly surprised when we received and assembled the chair/steps, what a great piece of kit. Made from bamboo, which of course is a very sustainable resource, it assembles really easy, as with all self assembly, making sure it is tightened up regularly will be a must. But my vote on all counts is 10/10, for the price it is fabulous. We were searching for a vintage library chair/step and were prepared to pay £200-300 but saw this and thought why not give it a go, honestly we are delighted.
