Good value with thoughtful features and warm sound
TC Electronic Thunderstorm Flanger. Nice warm 100% analog sound. The enclosure isnt the usual cast alluminium type but of a folded steel variety. Some thought has gone into the controls and are designed to avoid anything too extreme and unusable like too much depth. It can do the Electric Mistress fixed flange thing if you set depth and speed to minimum. It can also do a chorus like sound with range at minimum and feedback low or minimum. Also a convincing Leslie cabinet, subtle Andy Summers pseudo chorus sounds, and vibe, metallic and jet flange sounds. My only gripe is that the speed control seems to be more geared towards to slow end of the spectrum and its hard to contol it at very fast speeds. Its a good buy if you dont like your flangers to be too over the top and ridiculous sounding. Seems to sound good on bass to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
