Seals the deal
Fantastic! Our pressure cooker now comes up to pressure in minutes with absolutely no steam leaking past the gasket. The old rubber had gone hard and really didn't seal properly any more. Prestige say to replace the gasket approx every 9 months... Ours was probably over 9 years old.. but this fixed the issues and pressure cooker now works like new. Don't forget to also replace the little rubber gromet in the lid as that also leaks steam when it becomes old and hardened.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Gasket for a Prestege P61 pressure cooker.
Relacement gasket for my stainless steel type P61 Prestege pressure cooker. The unit did not have the model number engraved upon it but I was able to itentify it from internet photographs of Prestege pressure cookers. A good seal was acheived. Essential spare part
I can't remember the last time I changed the gasket - and what a difference a new one makes! Rather than waiting for the pressure to build up in the cooker, releasing steam as it does so, the lid fitted with the new gasket produces a tight seal, and pressure builds up in the cooker immediately. Wont seal
