Excellent value for money! You have the option to choose what language the movie is in Aswell as the subtitles. There are plenty of different movies on different discs and the quality is great. Amazing value - but lacking in some areas as a result
On the one hand this box set is amazing value. 21 fantastic films for a very low price. But that said, the quality isn’t brilliant and the subtitles in particular are very irritating. A poor font and colour choice, it’s probably not a huge issue if you’re going to be watching the dubbed version, but they do bother me slightly so bear it in mind Also, the dvds came verrrry quickly, but the box was slightly crumpled in the corners and sometimes the disks fall out of placeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent collection with a variety of language options
Studio Ghibli is in my opinion the best Japanese animated movie studio - and to be able to own the whole collection (except for new releases in the last few years) on physical format is great. Plus there are options for either subtitles or dubbing, and not just in English. So if you want to watch it with Japanese audio but with English (or other) subtitles you can, which is great if you're learning languages or simply prefer the sound of the characters speaking their original language. A great box set!
And a real bargain! Not Blu-ray, but I would have been surprised if it was at this price, given that these box sets usually cost 200-£300! The foldout digipack case is beautifully constructed, and the films are for the most part very good picture quality. Arrived sooner than expected in time for Xmas. Very happy with this. Well for the price and the reviews iv read on here i was not expecting much , but felt it was worth it if only one or two of the titles played , but am glad to say everyone of them so far has played perfectly, and the quality of the pictures was fine to my eye , i am not a blue ray nut even though i have a 4k tv . Granted it did not play on certain dvd players but on my laptop was perfect ! I was realy pleased with the packaging lovely printed case . All in all i beleave it was a good perchace and to behonest you are getting slightly more than you pay for here people! I am mifed at some of the reviews on here for this product surly under £30 for over 20 films should highlight that they maybe not 100% perfect so use your comen sence and enjoy what your geting here Five stars from meVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mostly good quality.
This is not a review of the actual films (which are outstanding) but a review of the dvds and their quality. Most of the films are of excellent quality with a great choice of language and subtitles. However there are a couple which are of less great quality. In particular Spirited Away and Pom Poko are quite grainy and the colours are faded. This is a shame as otherwise this would be an excellent product and it still is a good product at great value for someone looking to own the collection, but you may want to purchase a better quality dvd for 1 or 2 of the films like I plan on doing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing selection and great value
There is a massive selection of film by Studio Ghibli on this You literally have days worth of films here. It's only missing some of the later Ghibli films from The Wind Rises to When Marnie was There. My only real complaints are that the video quality is pretty bad (sorry to say) and the subtitles added when watching in Japanese sometimes overlap scenes where no one is talking. I know I shouldn't be so specific but it does hold it back from being perfect. A few menu bugs, but otherwise good quality
The films are very good. For the first film Laputa, the back advertises English audio. We selected it, but got Cantonese. However, we found a solution. Go to one of the other films on the same DVD and select English and play it. Then go back to the menu and play Laputa without changing the language selection. Good price and collection
Bought this for my other half, they’re lovely heart warming cartoons, some minor issues with English subtitles when watching in Japanese but it’s only a minor issue.
