I really like this camera, for use when I can’t bring my pro DSLR w/ a remove-able lens into a concert. It’s the cameraI leave just leave in my purse, so whenever I go I have some type of camera. It has great zoom capabilities, that are better than my iPhone. If I am far away in a arena then the sound is great. If I am up close the sound is crunchy & I have figured out yet what I’m going to do about that as far as videography goes. The only really bad drawback is once twilight hits at an outdoor concert it kinda useless. But you may get lucky & get a handful of shots. Compact and great zoom
After registering the camera at Canon, I downloaded the instruction manual. Using this, I was able to set up and personalize the camera. It is compact, will fit in a pocket. Has 25X optical zoom. The one thing you need to adjust to, in order to use the flash, you have to raise the flash feature on the camera. It comes up on the left side top, so you cannot rest your hand in that area. Perfect size and zoom capability for my needs
Biggest drawback to cell phone cameras for me is the lack of optical zoom. I wanted a camera that I could put in a pocket and use when outdoors and wanting to get closer to nature. Compact, great zoom, I would buy another one if we needed 2 cameras
I bought this because it was the newer version of my current camera, so it's like an old friend already. Disappointed that the batteries and charger don't interchange,I like having a spare battery so of course Ebay to the rescue on that. The camera overall is very nice for a 'pocket camera' people are amazed by the amount of zoom, which was my main reason for 'upgrading ' to it. I wish the rear display did not was out in sunlight, but it saves battery so it is what it is,no worse than any other pocket cam. As far as the product, please be advised that the smartphone connection to the camera requires wifi there doesn't seem to be nfc support for newer phones.
