Pale grey font makes detailed reading extremely difficult.
I have several DK travel guides as I find them the best series in terms of content, pictures, maps, layout etc. However over the last few years DK have been misguided into thinking that the availability of multiple choices of fonts and colours automatically means black on white is boring. Bold headings with normal black for detailed content makes for easy reading and clear legibility.....Pale shades of grey in ever decreasing fonts that are only suitable for reference dictionaries do not. These books surely aim to inform - not just to be used as a picture book to be browsed wi thought reading. Very disappointed with this aspect, despite the fact that the book is full of the information I need for my travels.
