Good replacement on a budget
The supplier I bought from, Aimtools UK were very helpful both pre-sale and after sales. If you damaged your pendant casing / switch, this is a good simple direct replacement option. As far as I can tell the pendant switch casing is identical to the original for both the 200 kg & 400 kg Hoist models for commonly available makes such as Clarke and others, right down to the information moulded into the casing. The Switch Gear is also the same as original for both model capacities. The switches, like most originals, are not provided with flexible covers or seals, not suitable for wet area operations as the pendant is live at 240V AC, also note the capacitor will hold a charge for long after it's disconnected, discharge it before handling. Be aware of the differences between the 200 kg & 400 kg as this particular item is intended for the lighter duty units without the lowering limit switch gear. If your model has a black plastic casing on the non motor end, this is important. 1. The Capacitor (fitted inside the casing) is a 20 mF size as opposed to the 30 mF fitted to the 400 kg units. 2. The Cable between the Pendant and the Motor Terminal Box is 4 core only, whereas the 400 kg units need 5 core for the Lowering Limit function. The cable gland is also fractionally smaller. 3. The casing with single side mounted Hoist Limit micro switch, is only suitable for the similar 200 kg units.
