Outstanding pocket DMM
Superb quality DMM which slots securely into one half of the flexible TPU case. The leads and probe tips are contained in the other half. The whole thing oozes quality, from the range switch to the comprehensive instructions and spec. sheet. The only thing missing is a backlight but this is to be expected as the unit is powered by only one CR2032 cell which gives approximately 150 hours of use. A useful feature is the ability to override the power-save function which normally activates after about fifteen minutes. Another is to override the tone which normally sounds as different modes are selected, such as switching between ohms, continuity, diode test and capacitance. Perfect pocket multimeter
Perfect little pocket multimeter with a excellent build quality. As a maintenance engineer, I'm frequently far away from my tool cabinet and like to have a few tools on me at hand to quickly diagnose a fault. I've been testing a few pocket meters to replace my Fluke 101, and Sanwa PM300 is just perfect. Yes its a little expensive, but if you want a reliable reading that you can be confident in and is safe to use in a industrial setting, I've not found anything that compares in such a little package. For comparison in the photos, is my EDC tools in a maxpedition micro next to the Sanwa.
