Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game and the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series. The game has been released for several platforms by Bethesda Game Studios. This version is for the Sony PlayStation 4 and is a Special Edition. The Special Edition is a remastered version with enhanced graphics. Skyrim's main story sends the player’s character on a journey to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The game is set two hundred years after the events of the previous Elder Scrolls game and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Played it on PS3 and pc on my crappy laptop. This is the definitive version. Love the graphical mods. I can finally play Skyrim the way I want. How I want. There's no command promts but theres a god mode mod and now I'll be spending hundreds of hours exploring and adventuring at my leisure. If I want to play it again with no mods, I just disable and load my file again. Awesome game. I like it way more than fallout 4 but that's just my personal preference. I love that there a mod to add the morrowind soundtrack to the game. Better looking character models, faster horses, etc Get it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well Done
This version is the way it should have been released as (the "Added Content" is just them finishing what they should have started, but had to release the game on time SO...you have to pay for them to finish their job. The price of this edition hasnt dropped much at all since it came out, which is unlike any other game I have seen. BUT overall the graphics and play-through are excellent, and I still enjoy it. Great game made even better.
I already had beaten Skyrim on PS3 but I wanted to give it another try on the PS4 special edition. I'm glad I did. Skyrim PS4 really rocks!!
Have played Skyrim on my PS3 but this is much better... the graphics are cleaner and more intense. In addition to that, there are mods available for it providing benefits that the original game just didn't come with. I've played skyrim for years now and when they came out with the mods for the console I immediately bought this game even though I had already played through it multiple times over. One of the best RPG's ever !
Anyone who has played this knows how good it is but for those out there that haven't : If you like "sword & sorcery" type games this one is at the top. There are so many quests & different character choices that it doesn't get old playing this. The only down side to a game like this is it does take a time commitment on your part to play through completely. Despite the fact that you can't play online this game is filled with hours on hours of playing. Quests, Side quests, many skills and countless ways to play your character the way you want too. Dudes and Dudets, This is so much better than on the newest 360. very smooth and fast as expected. Graphics are great as expected. You load everything at once so you can make arrows right off.
