    Motorola Phones have my vote.

Motorola Moto Z Force Droid XT1650-02 This is my second of the newer models and I love it. It is fast and the battery life is excellent. The turbo charger does a rapid recharge.. The only problem I have is that it gets a bit warm when using for awhile. Photos are amazing. Hopefully the shatterproof screen won't be tested,

Sleek design, fast and responsive, decent battery, but hardware issues caused me to return it to Motorola

I have been a devoted Motroloa phone user all the way back since the RAZR days. I've had the Droid, Droid 2, Droid Turbo, so it was only natural to go with the Droid Moto Z Force. The phone is plenty big enough, has a solid screen, has the ability to have a lot of addons (moto mods), has a decent battery (which is one the main reasons I've stuck with the Droid line), and has decent specs. However, I only had it for about a month and a half before things started malfunctioning. The phone started not properly recognizing whether the charger was plugged in or not. Not sure if it was a result of software or hardware issues, or both. It caused the phone to get very hot and burn through battery life and caused me to not be able to charge the phone properly. I thought it was the Turbo Charger but after buying a new one I realized it wasn't. Fortunately, I was able to do a cache clean in recovery mode and then went into Safe Mode and removed some recently installed apps and it seemed to resolve the charging/battery issue. Fast forward another month or so and one night the phone was plugged into the charger and Spotify was playing on it, and all of a sudden the display turned all green and noisy. It got super hot and then I lost the screen all together, although I could tell it was still responding to me touching it. I managed to do a factory reset, but even after doing that, the Wifi stopped responding and the cellular service stopped working as well. I had to send the phone to Motorola, thankfully it was still under warranty. I'm not sure what the issue is yet, but it was a short lived time I had with the original phone.

  • Fits the need in thin but wide and tall form factor

LIKE: Overall phone is good. Fast, no lag on my tasks. Long battery life last a couple of days, maybe more. Screen and bright inside and on the road. Speaker is clear. DISLIKE: Although screen is large much of the screen is cluttered with Android stuffs. Of example the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen and the dock take up about 20% of the screen. That with the finger print reader at the bottom of the phone face and the top notifications bar reduces the usable space to be very small relative to the actual display size. The phone has hard, almost sharp edges. Wish this had wireless charging build in.

  • Great phone. Perfect if it had a standard micro USB port

The Moto Z Force has standard Android with only Minor manufacturer bloatware. The Moto package, however, does include some accessibility options that are great. It feels solid. The screen is good and the battery life is good. With the optional Moto pack that enables wireless charging, battery life is excellent and there is wireless charging. It bugs me that you have to buy a Moto Mod to get wireless charging, but that is atradeoff I was willing to make. Only con, other than that, that I have found so far is that it does not have a AUX jack and the only connection port is a USB type C port so you have to use a USB c to 1/4" adapter. But my car stereo doesn't have an AUX jack. It has 2 USB inputs, but playback wont work with the USB C connection. So, I have to use BT. Bandwidth on BT is, by it's nature, limited so the sound is inherently not as good. Overall, it is an excellent phone.

  • Love it

This is a wonderful phone. Fingerprint sensor is a Godsend. It's a laptop in my pocket. I run more apps on this thing than on my desktop PC at home. VPN, remote desktop, network tools, music apps, office apps, videos of all types, ebooks, audiobooks and of course some games. Hooks up to any Bluetooth in my cars or multiple Chromecast devices instantly with no issues, and I use a battery mod as well as the JBL moto mod with it. Both work great. Next comes the projector mod!

  • Great for the price!

You just can't beat this price for a new(er) model phone like this. The battery life is probably twice as good as my Samsung S6. I get to the end of the day with 40% or so still left. It's a little inconvenient to have to switch my chargers to a USB-C type, but there are lots of options for little adapters out there. I'm knocking it down to 4 stars because it arrived with more dings than I expected from the description. On the corners of the frame...Nothing that won't be covered up by a phone cover, and nothing on the screen. But I was just surprised.

  • Nice phone works well.

The phone works really well. I was hoping for more battery life it is getting better with time it lasts all week now on standby and getting a call every other day or longer. It works about the same as my old mini Droid so I didn't have to relearn how to use it. Takes really nice pictures with the easily set up memory card in place there is tons of storage. The navigation and flashlight work great.

  • Flagship phone for less than flagship pricing - plus mods, unbreakable glass..

I never broke the glass on a phone until recently - and broke it twice. That's why I went for the Moto Z Force version with the larger 3500 mah battery and shatter proof glass. Add the 2000 mah battery mod and you will never have battery anxiety again. However it doesn't seem to last much longer than the 4000mah battery from my previous Huawei Mate 9 (with the broken screen). You lose about 25% to 30% of that 2000mah when recharging the phone battery with the mod. Still worth it however. The battery mod also allows your phone to charge wirelessly. So far a good phone. Nice shape for your hand with the back plate on it - otherwise it is very flat and edgy. Coming from several phones with the fingerprint reader on the back - it is better on the front. If you want to unlock the phone laying on its back, boom no problem. The gesture notifications from the lock screen is wonderful. Camera seems good, haven't used it enough yet to know for sure. At what I paid for this used, it is a wonderful phone.

  • Good Phone

Nice phone. Works. Battery life decent. I never buy new I always buy older models however works well (even makes phone calls) my biggest gripe being I need to find a way to stop having the pictures I take automatically end up on my Google Account. I want them on my SD card only for now.

  • I love this big, long-lasting phone after a week with it.

Pros: the phone is awesome. I'm very pleased after a week. It's big, sturdy, and easy to use. It has all the great "Moto" features, lots of speaker volume, and a huge 3289 mAh battery. Plus, it has the TurboCharge technology, which means if you have a compatible charger you can charge the phone in an hour instead of days. It's also sturdy. The extra-large screen on the Droid edition is shatterproof, and the aluminum frame protects it. I read a review where the reviewer dropped the phone from the 2nd floor onto marble and it only scuffed the frame...no damage. It has a "mod" system which lets you buy a video projector, a loudspeaker, and a battery pack. The "mod" system works. I bought the wireless charger/battery mod for the phone and it almost doubles the battery life and lets it charge from a wireless charger. It also protects the back of the phone...it just clicks in place and is held there by strong magnets. I've only had this phone for a week, but I've been getting days of use out of a single charge. I don't think I'll buy a protective case for it because it's so sturdy. I may buy a screen protector just to keep from scratching the screen, though. Great phone. Cons: the screen is reported to be easy to scratch, and the phone may be too big for smaller hands...It fits me perfectly, though, and I love the size of the screen.
