Small footprint monochrome laser printer with straightforward wireless connection
I bought this to replace an older Samsung laser printer that has been very reliable and cheap to run. I upgraded because I needed Wifi connection to my home network. The printer was fairly easy to set up on Windows 10 following a YouTube video I found. I used the installation software downloaded from the HP/Samsung website and started the installation with the printer connected via a USB cable (supplied with the printer). Once installed on the network you can use the same installation software with any other Windows computers that need to access the printer. It took a while to work out how to operate the printer using the using the push-buttons and LED indicators. There is a Samsung/HP Android app for printing from a phone, but this is not very good. However, I was able to print from my phone without using the app. Print quality is good, although a little light in tone, and printing speed is good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not exactly what I expected
For a Samsung product, this printer is a let down. For one, duplex printing is a hassle and almost impossible as you have to physically turn the paper and printer wouldn't recognise it when you do. This replaced an old ink jet. Easy set up - just plug in to Windows laptop with USB cable supplied and set up as wireless. Put in WiFi password and that's it. The printer is now linked to your WiFi. Problems with installation. Apart from that all fine.
To install the printer, my laptop requires the WPN PIN of the printer which I cannot find anywhere. The drivers are on a CD only but the computer doesn't have the CD reader.
