Good but slow with Android 5.1
An oldie but goodie -- except -- this specific one was upgraded to 5.1.1 Lollipop, I have read a lot of stuff online that this makes the tablet very slow and I agree. I am deciding whether to roll back to Android 4, upgrade to Android 7 or go with Ubuntu Touch. So if you buy this particular config on Android 5.x be ready to unlock it, flash a new firmware and OS to it. Just Learning Android Development, and need a Tablet, get this one
It's an Android tablet with wifi, and not much else -- no frills. But, ..., this is a great tablet for a learning environment. They're a good value for their price; plentifully available; factory-refresh-firmware is easily available online; the hardware and OS easily interfaces with Android Studio -- including in Linux environments. The tablet is pretty decent, the build quality is nice, the battery life is about max is 6 hours, the available ram at most is about 580 mb. There is about 27 gbs of available memory, but no SD card slot so don't except to be having a bunch of movies on this.
