Great characters, great stories
The boys are a great double act, and Cowley injects just the right amount of paternal oversight and moral direction. It is noteworthy that in the very first episode (involving rifles and grenades) there was only one injury (a shot to the shoulder) and even the 'sweating' of a suspect was done using psychology not violence. This is a action-packed series, dealing with serious crime, but it doesn't bring our heroes down to the level of the criminals. On the other hand, there is a sprinkling of titillation for example, (in the first episode an attractive young woman has to have her blouse ripped open) which looks rather dated now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
