Great macro lens
I only occasionally require a macro lens so prior to purchasing the 100mm Tokina i had looked at others but they were quite expensive, especially if I was only using macro once every so often I couldn't justify paying a lot for the privilege of having one. I had read a few reviews and decided to go for the Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro and I certainly have not been disappointed, it may be slightly slower and noisier than a Nikon equivalent but image quality is superb, I have used it as a portrait lens too with excellent results.
