Great macro lens
I only occasionally require a macro lens so prior to purchasing the 100mm Tokina i had looked at others but they were quite expensive, especially if I was only using macro once every so often I couldn't justify paying a lot for the privilege of having one. I had read a few reviews and decided to go for the Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro and I certainly have not been disappointed, it may be slightly slower and noisier than a Nikon equivalent but image quality is superb, I have used it as a portrait lens too with excellent results. For the price it is a superb acquisition, and I've used it more than I expected.

Just amazing.
Amazing lens, so sharp and so easy to go into manual focus, I wish all lenses were like this, no switches just a little pull or push and not a negative in sight. So glad I bought new and not used as well.
