The Avr-x4400h is a 9.2 channel network AV Receiver from Denon that has 11.2-channel processing capability. This AV Receiver comes with a built-in Bluetooth adapter, a built-in Wi-Fi adapter, and AirPlay technology, so you have different usage options. The AVR-x4400h has eight HDMI inputs as well as triple outputs for all your devices. It utilizes DDSC-HD audio circuitry and AL32 Multi-Channel Processing, and the AV Receiver supports 4K UHD full pass-through as well as 4:4:4 pure color support. Review Denon AVR-X4400H
Biggest disappointment so far is the html interface and the HEOS app, sadly lacking compared to my Yamaha AVR. Big network issues that everytime the HEOS app is used the receiver is required to power cycle for the HEOS app to find the receiver. Huge pain. So far I have not been able to overcome all the network issues. I will try assigning static IPs to the unit to see if network issues are resolved. The streaming feature could be improved and is not on par with the Yamaha. Pandora does not reside in the unit as well as other streaming applications. The HEOS app is the interface. One must log into HEOS to access the streaming functions. This means that other household members either must have their own HEOS app and a phone to manage Pandora or IHeart radio. I haven't figured out how to add a streaming URL which means that to get to a streaming station TuneIn Radio must offer the stream. The Yamaha streaming capability was much more capable and robust. I'm saving my old Yamaha for its superior internet function and using it as a component to the Denon. Best of both worlds now. Sound quality is very good. The unit is very versatile in handling different speaker arrangements. Bi-amping the main speakers produces a big improvement in sound quality. I just wish the web interface of the unit was as good as my old Yamaha. The zone functions are a big plus. Definitely has a huge learning curve, I've barely scratched the surface of what this thing can do, and I can tell it will be an ongoing process. Wish it had a printed manual, hard to refer to the online pdf version. That said, the sound and picture quality are superb. I own two other Denon pieces, this one is replacing my old AVR 3806. The 3806 was a great piece however time marches on. Nice upgrade to home theater
I love the new Denon technology in the AVR X4400H. Simple things like speaker terminals in back that are not stacked on top of each other make wiring much easier. Love The New Technology With Denon
This was a replacement for my Denon AVR 3805, and I am amazed how simple it was to connect with the on screen instructions. The technical advancements in this unit compared to my previous AVR are like day and night. The difference in my sound quality is absolutely amazing with this upgrade. I love the blue tooth and numerous other features, should have upgraded years ago.

Denon AVR - X4400H
The surround processing in this is a significant upgrade over my Onkyo TX-Nr1007. Auro 3d DTSX and Dolby Atmos create a whole new scale for sound in my media room. Connections where easy and well organized. The one problem with this product is its remote. The Onkyo TX - NR1007 remote is one of the best remotes I've used. bang for the buck
Upgraded from a Denon AVR-987, this was light years easier to setup than the OG was. I was running a 7.1 with the old unit, went to a 7.2 for now until I get the last 2 speakers in hand to get the 9.2. Sounds a lot stronger but think it is a lot to do with the second big sub I added. Only down fall is the remote and that the Spotify does not setup the way you would think.
