Bright & loud.
Seems a little flimsier than I expected, but saying that the alarm is loud and hopefully it will deter any theft attempt. It is very sensitive, even putting the ignition key in will set it chirping, which is, in my opinion, a good thing. Also the bright colour is a visual deterrent. Let down by very poor alarm.
I was initially pleased with the product,but not now.The battery compartment is screwed down with 4 tiny allen screws.One of the screws is so tightly screwed in that I could not unscrew it with the supplied allen key and now the head is rounded off so will need drilling out when the batteries expire.The alarm is a joke.Nowhere near loud enough.But you could not use it anyway as it is far too sensitive to be switched on if the bike is outside.The faintest of breezes sets it off.So I only use the alarm when the bike is garaged overnight....together with 2 massive chains.But sometimes even in the garage the alarm will keep going off.So ,overall not impressed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Value for money
Chunky and heavyweight but not too heavy, only giving it 4 stars because the locking mechanism is a little bit fiddly to use. Fits perfectly under my rear seat thought and the carry case is a nice addition to keep it clean. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a decent lock on a budget. Instructions don't say how to get it apart and DON'T mention that the battery needs to be extracted and that the plastic must be removed from the battery. Excellent price, looks well made. Very sensitive which isn't a bad thing. Is used inside a garage so can't comment wether it's waterproof. Alarm stopped
The alarm stopped the second time I used it. I think if I was to pull it apart and maybe re set the batteries it would work again. I am not bothered about the alarm I am just letting people know. Otherwise the lock seems sturdy and I am happy to keep it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says on the tin.
Used it once so far on a very busy car park. Found it a little awkward to get the pin into on of the disc holes but that may be through lack of practice. Makes a horrible beeping noise when fitted to let you know it is working. Did not go off every time a bird flew past or a car rolled by. That's got to be a good thing. Good product and cheap too
Good little disc lock, cheap and effective. Not the most secure lock you can buy but at a fraction of the price and very vocal with it you can't beat it. It wouldn't be the only device I put on a £20k bike but a good additional deterrent - it all helps. Ideal for a scooter or small bike and comes with a nice little carry case and 3 keys.
