  • Fiction based on history at it's best

Conn Iggulden has done it again with this series of books. He tells a historical tale based on real events, slightly manipulated, that can grip the reader. Characters can be real or imagined but together they tell a wonderful story. I loved this book, couldn't put it down, but it is best to start at the beginning of the series and work through. Picking up this book as a one off won't work, start at the beginning. Highly recommended ***** book
