One step under prof level
If you are not afraid of digging into menus to find the settings that matter, then you have a camera that can take you up to professional level photography. You Tube have some great walk throughs of the settings that matter by seasoned veterans, it was the best invested 1hr of my time ever. They got right to the point and showed what this camera can do. It is my first DSLR I have owned, and I went for just under top class and did not regret it (would have preferred a full format D850 but will have to wait for the cheaper used ones to appear). I have taken up my old hobby of photography, I used to use analog cameras and this is soo much easier to get the results you want. But remember, once you have a decent camera, it is the lens that matters the most, much more than the camera body. Try to get a lens that gives you the highest quality images and largest aperture you can afford, the difference is remarkable. Unfortunately, so is the prize too.
