Bert is a Good Boi
Bert came wrapped perfectly and was very fluffy! The collar was just like the one Abbey had put on him in the show, and he was absolutely adorable. I had read other reviews online and seen the factory voice box fart didn’t sound like the one on the show, so I bought a record button from eBay and recorded the fart to make it realistic. I looked the fart up on YouTube because the tv one was overlaid with abbeys lab music. With the new fart box, Bert sounded perfect, and absolute looked the part!! His pelt was not cheap, a fuzzy silky grey, and his whiskers were just adorable! Great stitching, great stuffing, and great product!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Terrible!!!
First of all, it doesn’t fart. Second, it looks like it’s ridiculously poor quality, and used for like 10 years, then chewed up by my dog. Ok, maybe not quite that bad, but it’s bad. The ‘whiskers (& for some reason there are some above the lip) are like 5 pieces of 10 string embroidery thread that pull right out. For some reason it’s like a puppet, & you’re supposed to stick your hand in its stomach— but there are 2 holes (1 with Velcro?), both seem to serve no purpose since it doesn’t fart/ there’s nothing to squeeze to make noise. the front hole goes - not easily- to the mouth, where i can grab handfuls of loose stuffing. complete & total waste of $$$.

Very misleading title!
This is listed as bert the FARTING hippo, but it doesn't make any noise at all! The two pockets serve no purpose other than to make it into a hand puppet. Package arrived as a bag wrapped in duct tape, no padding. So very very disappointed. I could have bought a hippo locally for a lot less.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not true to discription
