Ipad pro
I normally use my laptop and occasionally my wife's ipad but since I have had my ipad pro I find that I use this more and more as it is easy to use. Value wise it was excellent and in fact cost less than my wife's ipad bought about 4 years ago.

Little Brother
This is an excellent machine with faultless ergonomics and a wonderful screen resolution. But they are expensive, however well made. All the apps work well on it and the wifi is as good as the bigger iPad Pro. The fingerprint recognition is much improved too. Battery life seems to be as good as Apple claim. Connectivity is limited, and a memory card slot would be nice to have. On the whole I would recommend it over the bigger iPad for its compact dimensions.
