a bit hit and miss in this application
It's a good idea and should in principal work but all conditions have to be perfect. two long M8 bolts had stripped out of the cylinder head on my engine. they only needed 10Nm of torque and are only there to complete an oil seal at the front of the head and are not cylinder head bolts. I removed the head and cleaned the holes as best i could one was a stopped hole the other went right through. followed all directions as best I could but the temperature was about 4degrees so quite cold. the blocked hole worked well and took the required torque. the one that had a hole that went right through stripped out as soon as the slightest torque was applied. I think for closed holes it is great for through holes you need to follow the advice and tape off the end of the hole. this was not possible in my case as the hole was behind the cam belt cover and in accessible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

it does excatly what it says on the packet!
I had a stripped thread on one of the bolts holding the exhaust end can cover on my KawasakiNinja ZX12R motorbike. The alternative option was a very expensive removal of the whole exhaust and re-tapping which i was keen to avoid. The product was very simple to use and took literally minutes to repair the thread.
