Mostly happy
This is your standard lathe set up and to be fair they got it mostly right it's quiet the variable speed is great though on three different gear sets which you adjust by hand but the speed select dial once on the right set of gears is great, my main complaint or only real complaint is the tool rest which I did not like at all it is usable but on the rear bulges at the centre which catches your hand and affects the tools run on the wood and the angle the tool is introduced I immediately replaced it with a Robust comfort rest and now things are fine it's a good lathe and but a better tool rest would make it a great one especially for beginners.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
