Nextbase 622gw picture me/you
A very good camera but it takes time to install especially if you do the hard wire kit as I did. You will need a least 3 hours if you are doing the rear camera option. The instruction/ user manual is comprehensive but does lack some information. Like what do the icons on the screen mean and no mention about the screen going to sleep ( turning off) I was worried at 1st that it had switched off. No facility to have the screen on whilst driving that I have found yet( maybe a safety reason) Need to find a forum to ask the question. The branded Nextbase memory card is very over priced. I perched a smaller Nextbase memory card (32gb) and a Sandisk 128gb top end card for less than the 32gb and that is working well so far (Nextbase must use one of the top manufactures)Just make sure you buy use the right spec card all are not the same.

Nice looking dash cam
I returned the product thinking couple of things where missing and not as described on box I had refund I sent it back rather hastily I wished I'd kept it but was too late I did purchase another same make Nextbase 622GW again a couple of things missing such as magnetic dust cover and suction mount have been told by Nextbase they no longer come with the dash cam to me it should do they have said they will send me magnetic dust cover n suction mount when it arrives I'll get my dash cam up and running didn't want to use the fixed mount as I wanted to see where it would look best with the suction mount the camera wasn't as on the box which put me off hence my returning product had I known from Nextbase before hand I'd have kept it i ended up paying more when I re bought again from another high str store so was my loss!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality, well made, easy to use.
I bought this as an additional camera having used Nextbase for a while. No vacuum mount, only a stick on version which is fine as vacuum mounts tend to detach in an accident! You must clean the screen with alcohol (Isopropyl is best) beforehand. The camera is held by a very strong magnet, so easy to remove and get it back in the right spot. Image quality is very good, although as with every other camera I’ve had over the years, night quality is less sharp - but still very good. The software updated as soon as I connected the device to a mobile phone and no issues with it holding a connection as long as the two devices are within about 6ft/2m of each other. You do need to charge the device via a USB power supply for 2 hours before installing in a car, and setting up should be done whilst externally powered. I would highly recommend obtaining the Nextbase external power cabling for a car or you’ll have the 12V cigar plug/lead dangling about in front. Don’t place the camera within the swept area directly in front of the driver, you might get an MOT failure!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great quality picture.
This camera is for my partner for Xmas so review is not for this one. However I have an identicle one which is very good. It does get very hot in use and in summer on occasions it is too hot to touch. I've been told this is ok but surely it can't be right. Picture quality is very good and it does what it is supposed to.
