Sweet feeling when the two lights kiss!
I pluck hard, so it takes a second for the harmonics to settle down, but then it is fast and accurate. Sweet feeling when the two lights kiss! I have only used it a few times, so I am going to do the obvious and learn to pluck lighter when tuning. The key signature letters are bold and easy to read, but my tired old eyes have trouble with the flat & Sharp symbols. Packaging and action is standard Boss excellence. Tuner works great for what I needed at my workplace
I bought this to tune my guitar at my workplace and to replace an old TU-12 that stopped working. I know that clip-on's are what most people use these days and they cost less (I use one for my ukulele), but I didn't want to bother putting one on then taking it off every time I took the guitar out of its bag or put it back in. My amp and pedals are under a desk and the bright LED's make it easy to read plus with the tuner on, no sound comes out of the amp which is a bonus feature that the clip on's can't match. I power the pedal with a 9v power adapter so I don't have to worry about the batteries dying when I'm trying to tune my guitar. I also like the fact that the TU-3 works similar to my TU-16 in that I don't have to press a button each time I want to tune a different string it auto recognizes which string I am tuningVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Same GREAT Boss quality
I bought the older version of this fine tuner over 30 years ago and it just started to give me some issues regarding the analog V/U meters. Not bad for over 30 years of use. This new version has all the excellent features of my older version and some new added features such as a beep sound when your tuning is spot on. Boss knew not to remove any features which was smart. This is the one you want for your Boss pedal rig.
This is a great tuner. It's accurate and easy to use, and doesn't affect tone. The read out is easy to see, and doesn't bounce around too much like some tuners do. The bonus of having it as a power supply is also terrific. My rig consists mainly of Boss pedals, so I thought I would give this a try. good tuner well built #sharp light should be bigger
Great Boss quality, seems to be solid as usual, easy to use, probably has some features I won't use but glad they are there. My only complaint is that the # sharp led is TINY ... actually fairly hard to see compared to all the other lights on the pedal... if that light was double the size or even triple it would be in a good proportion. This tuner is easy to use and handy too carry around...... I'm a Bass player,,, and my most commonly used rig has a tuner built in.. But some times if I just sit in or am at a practice , I'm using the house rig . Having a pedal tuner with a mute is pretty handy........Boss has this pedal tuner set up pretty sweet......
