    Refurb 4a a good value

I've had a refurbished 4a now for about a week. So far, I'm liking it better than my old XL and better than when I initially received it! * Although the form factor is smaller overall than my XL, I like the lighter weight and slimmer profile. * Battery life seems decent--better than my XL, but the XL had what I believe is the original battery (also bought used) so I'm sure shorter battery a function of age with the unit I replaced. * Despite the smaller size, the more advanced display is sharp. Increasing the size of the fonts also helps these aging eyes! * Definitely faster than the XL, no question. * As a still-relevant (for me) technology, definitely a reasonable value as a gently used device.

Hardware failure after a few months of normal use.

Phone stopped functioning after few months of use. BEWARE. Hardware failure occurred after a few months of purchase. Was working fine for first few months but yesterday the phone started saying the SIM card wasn't installed. Immediately took the phone to the store and they confirmed it was a hardware failure with the SIM card reader - no other SIM card would work in my phone, and the SIM card I had originally worked when installed in a different phone. Phone was in protective OtterBox case and had a screen protector on - was never dropped/handled harshly.

  • Great phone

One of the few android phones left that easily fits in the pocket. Great camera, great battery, and being a pixel it's running the latest Android version with pixel exclusive features. I will only stick with Google, Samsung tries to hard to make there own ecosystem that just doesn't work.

  • Compact phone with bright picture.

The phone was unlocked and was easily set up by AT&T. The phone has very fast response and the battery can go four days with minimal use. The size is smaller than my last phone but its not tiny. I also like the fact that my last chargers work with this phone.

  • I love the phone.

Nice phone. Charges fast and holds the charge A long time. I charge it every couple of days. It is A little different from my Samsung but I will get use to it. I love the size and weight,

  • Google Pixel 4 a

Fits nicely in pocket and purse. Has ton of features. I'm over age 50 and like it. Just wish my old android chargers were compatible.

  • Been wanting a pixel

I've switched to Motorola since the best manufacturer, LG, quit making phones. My last was a Moto 100, which I really like but mine was faulty with the calls and connections, so I thought I would finally get me a Pixel but didn't want to spend a whole bunch since I wasn't sure if it's be worth it. I do like this Pixel 4a. But there are some cons to me. First, it is really small, especially compared with my last two Motos. The speaker isn't real loud, and the battery is not that great. But other than that I think it's a pretty good little budget phone. I'd really like to have a Pixel 6 or 7 but I'm not spending $700+ on a phone!

  • Best used smartphone I've bought in years

Great photos. This is a used camera that works like new. Works just as well as the new Pixel 4a I bought years ago.

The phone is in better condition than expected. Unlocked, runs fast, no noticeable scratches on the screen, charges lightning fast, and the only cosmetic flaw is it peeling a bit on the back, which doesn't even matter since I plan on using a phone case for it anyways. The phone even got here several days earlier than I expected it to.
