I would use the Beaphar worm clear spot-on again!
I didn't know which tape worming product to buy to get rid of our cat's worms but I like the Beaphar products in general (theirs was the only cat food my friend's cat would eat when she had kidney issues!) so I was hoping this one wouldn't be to strong for our cat and it does seem to have worked and he is happier. Just what was needed.
It's obviously worked like I hoped it would. My cat wasn't obviously sick beforehand, but there had been a change in her behaviour which gave me room to pause and take stock. The thing is, I'd forgotten that I'd failed the last time I tried to give her an actual de-worming tablet and it took a while for me to find out that it came in liquid form. And all that time I was doing research, she STILL hadn't had the treatment hence, her 'suddenly' seemingly sad. Liquid form is definitely the way forward as my cat is her sprightly demanding confident self again; choosing to be outside more which is her favourite thing. Even though I miss seeing her as much as before, I know she's back to her happy and 'normal' self.

Brilliant worm tablets.
These worm tablets are the best one's we've ever used, although not really paletable without hiding them in food as our cats are very difficult to worm, they go down excellent in a chunk of tinned ham or corned beef though, or of any favourite of the little kitty who needs worming really.
