    Easy upgrade to better sound.

    QED XT25 speaker cables are easy and cheap way to upgrade sound. More precise stereo soundstage, richer dynamics and easy to use with banana plugs. They do look good also.

    Quality and sound!

    Used these very well made cables to connect to my new Fyne Audio speakers, so unable to make a direct comparison BUT the combination of speaker and cable have dramatically improved clarity, colour and depth of sound of vinyl. The cable (QED - whose equipment I have used for a number of years) and plugs are of a very high quality and seem well matched for output from a valve amp.

    Upgraded

    Very happy with these, I upgraded from the basic QED 42 strand in order to move my speakers further apart. Stereo sound was improved and the general tightness and clarity at the high end seemed better. Although this could all be an illusion I am happy enough that upgrading cable has given me the best sound possible. A good investment even if the difference is partially psychological.

    If you have jumper leads on your speakers these are a great upgrade ive had mine for a fews weeks now to burn them in n now my speakers are breathing has they should be. These jumper leads maybe cheap but you get a High End sound.

    Fitting the recommended banana plugs is fiddly, but less expensive if you do it yourself. The cable is not cheap, but here you get what you pay for. I have been most impressed with some slightly less expensive QED cable. With the XT40i, I am going on a friend's recommendation, as I have not fitted the cable yet, but I am confident the result will give me great pleasure for years to come!
