VERY VERY highly recommended. Works brilliantly to clean up dirty waxy infected ears when everything else fails.
Our JRT had months of recurring ear infections, ears bunged up with thick wax. It would drive him crazy and (if his cone came off) scratching them until they bled. Constant cleaning with many other products and being knocked out at the VET (at great expense) to have his ears cleaned didn't work. So I eventually read about Zymox and tried it. The result was amazing. His ears started to clear up in a couple of days. I have no idea how it works but it's just brilliant; it's changes his and our lives. It seems expensive for small bottle but you don't need to use that much for it to start really working. After that you can just use it from time to time. My dogs quality of life is better due to Zymox
I have a dog that was taking severe ear infections every other week and was on antibiotics constantly.He has thickening of the ear canal and scarring due to the amount of infections he was taking.A dog groomer recommended I tried this product.The little guy occasionally has minor irritation at his ear (when this happens I give him his usual zymox treatment in the morning then an added one at night till it settles back down) but he has not needed an antibiotic once in the two and a half years I have treated him with Zymox.It can be expensive to buy but when you consider vet consultations and buying medication from them this can work out a little cheaper..Make sure to give the ear and surrounding area a good massage to work the treatment in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Produced a vast amount of earwax/discharge.
The product is a little pricey, but then so's a visit to the vets, at least this product works! My dog has suffered with wax build up and itching in one of his ears for several years. Constant visits to the vets and various prescription med's never cleared it completely. I'm not saying this is a miracle worker but using this everyday has produced a vast amount of earwax/discharge and his ear has never looked cleaner. However, the itching hasn't settled down.
