Not even close to realistically sounding like an acoustic piano
I suppose for someone who doesn't care that it is a far cry from sounding like an acoustic piano, it's could be OK. It has plenty of other sounds, but like its grand piano, the sounds all seemed somewhat muffled to me along with a bit of distortion. Turning up the volume only made my ears ring. In fairness, I had a 20 year old Kawai "Concert Artist" digital piano for over 20 years. It spoiled me --- I now know that I can't settle for anything less than how it sounded. I foolishly thought that by now much of that sound quality should have seeped down into the manufacture of cheaper digital pianos. Well, it hasn't. It's the old adage --- you get what you pay for. Don't buy before hearing a digital piano in person. You can't rely on how they sound in YouTube videos. This model sounded far better in videos than it does in person.
