Perfect beginners machine!!!
This review is for ROHR Inverter MMA 160amp DC stick machine which I bought in August 2019. Never welded in my life and decided to learn. Watched loads of vids on youtube and then bought this welder. After an hour or so practising I was welding to a satisfactory standard for what I wanted.This little welder is light, efficient and very simple to use for a novice like me. I would thoroughly recommend it - the price is right and it is so small and manouvreable. No complaints. I was using 6013 rods and am delighted with results. Mighty atom
I’ve taken time to use the welder properly before leaving this review. It is just what I was looking for. Well made with cables of ample length. Easy to set up, adjusting amperage is done easily and getting back to the sand settings is simple with the digital read out. Far more power than I’m going to need welding 3.2mm dissimilar rods at 100 amps giving good penetration and a nice looking weld.

Totally Brilliant - Arc no pun. !!
Very pleased with this welder. As a complete novice, never having welded anything in my life, it took me about 30 mins to practice on some scrap and then straight into to 10mm plate / 4mm plate joins. It was asking a lot of 160 amps on full power, however it was pretty good. Most of the work it will do will be much lighter. Maybe I should have gone for 200/250 amps, but for truck and car work occasional stuff it is really good. I would strongly recommend this welder to anyone starting out or wanting a small welder to DIY / Home garage work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little welder, unbeatable value
I do a fair bit of welding and fabricating on the farm. I have had a number of welders over the years. This one is a third of the price of the last (very well known brand) and out performs it. Handy little welder
I have done a lot of stick welding and mig welding over a number of years and am pleased with this welder. That includes cast and stainless steel. Its mobility is convenient but a carrying strap would have been an advantage for working at height.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Inverter welder
