Generally I loved this purchase.The cartridge arrived today, and I immediately tried it. The wireless setup took some efforts, but it prints fine.Two small problems, though. One is that the noise it makes is not unnoticeable; secondly, the color tends to be much warmer than the original photo. A little clunky.
While this is a decent printer for what I paid for it I find it a little lacking in Photo print quality. Photos just look a little washed out and it leaves indentations on the paper where the roller feed is. It also quite clunky and rather large. My previous Epson XP printer was much quieter, nicer looking and smaller. Print quality was also better it was also top feed. I don't like the cumbersome front feed on the Canon. All in all everything works as it should. Easy enough to set up and get printing. I basically bought this because the non removable heads on the Epson dried up. I basically threw away a like new printer because of this. The print head in this is part of the cartridge, so can be replaced.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Did have issues setting it up for the wireless AirPrint - purchased this to print mainly from my phone and tablet- not as easy as following the instructions and pressing a button! So easy to install. Was worried my ancient pc on Windows 7 might not acecpt it but I didn't even have to search or download the drivers - I just plugged it in and it did it all for me. Didn't use wi-fi (9'x9' living room so cable is plenty long enough!) although it's a good job I kept the usb cable from the old printer as it didn't come with one. Disappointed that this model did not have the fit to page facility that was on an earlier model, but for the price it is good value for money . This printer is not easy to set up and the fact that it does not come with ink is an annoyance. You cannot set it up without ink, so that is the first task, to buy some. I am not an idiot but I had to ask an IT expert to come to make mine work.
