I was working on a job and had the opportunity to use an Impact Driver for the first time. I was hooked. As I already have a number of Dewalt Battery Tools the only choice for me was another Dewalt. Delivery was excellent within two days. The unit was taken straight out of the box and put to use immediately on a roofing job. What a difference compared to just using a Drill Driver. Its a great piece of kit. Compact but powerful and does a brilliant job. For extensive screwing jobs it's a must. I went for the 4 AHR Battery and despite two long sessions putting in fixings for steel sheet roofing the battery was still showing two bars. Serious bit of kit
Had the older model for over 5 years daily abuse ran over dropped you name it and is still going strong decided to upgrade to this new version and it is a seriously good bit of kit! Powerful as hell lucky has 3 power/speed setting so the smaller screws don't snap off! Also the battery charges super quick. Very very pleased and at a super price!!!! Excellent impact driver - only wish I had bought this sooner!
I bought this from Abbey Hardware who offered the Driver, Fast Charger, 4.0 AH battery and TSTAK case at a very competitive price. I can recommend both the seller and the Impact Driver. I use the driver for DIY and woodworking. Its' light weight makes it easy to use and its' compact size makes working in tight spaces much easier, than say my combi drill. The three speeds work well so whether driving small woodscrews or massive hex screws, there is a suitable speed and the trigger is sensitive enough not to over power the screw. The reverse works well and is useful removing old rusty screws. The driver works just as well with the 2.0 AH batteries that I have and the DCB-115 charger makes light work of fully recharging all the batteries. I like the power meter on the batteries so you can see exactly how much charge you have available. Since I bought this I have used it a lot for a variety of tasks and cannot find anything to fault it. Only wish I had bought one sooner!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
