Brill water filters

Unusual taste
I've given 3 stars because although these are very good value for money compared to leading brands, the filtered water has a weird taste in the mouth. I didn't experience this with the Brita cartridge, water seemed to come out and taste purer than this one. If it wasn't for the slightly off taste then I'd have given 5 stars. Besides the price I do however wonder what is the difference between this brand and the Brita brand cartridges. Why is there such a big difference in price? Great Water Filters
As good as the main brand filters for a lot less than the rip off prices of the main brand, used to buy Sainburys own brand filters at half main brand price but someone at Sainsburys has to decided to double the price and now they are only just under main brand price, they have to be joking! Really good inexpensive alternative
These are great, they do the same job as the BRITA branded ones but are nowhere near as expensive. The still use the old type ring pull as opposed to the new two fingered grip to remove but otherwise the are a very good inexpensive alternative. Thank you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bargain price for a year's worth of cartridges!
Highly recommended, as most others charge an arm and a leg for these. However, it seems this form review wants me to say if these filter cartridges are compact, easy to operate and easy to clean. What?? They fit in the Brita jug, as they're meant to. They seem to last the length of time they're meant to. I do not operate them, nor do I clean them, as they only stay in the jug a month. 12 new filters.
I bought these filters as they daisy get fitted Matrix filters. As I had just escaped my water jug, I have not yet tried one of these filters . It says they are compatible with Brita Matrix filters so I truly hope they will fit properly. It could take another 2,or 3 months before I need to descale again; depending on how much it is used so I will see then if they are what are promised.
