    It works

I did one side window and two rear windows on my van. Luckily there's 6 meters as my first attempt dident turn out to well, got a crease and a few hairs under the film. Next try turned out well and very happy being as it was my second go at window tinting. The trick is to make sure the window is clean then clean it again. Use lots of water in a spray bottle with a small amount of soap. Spray the outside of the window first then lay film on outside cut to shape. Go inside and spray the inside (more the better) remove the clear side, spray the film place on window and work from middle out. Any big fingers of air need to be stretched out with hands, don't use tool provided or you'll get a crease and will have to start again. This method worked for me, It takes patience if you don't have any then don't try this. It's been on my windows a month now and still looks as good as the day I put it on, its a good product, only thing is the tool provided is a little small but for the money I dident expect anything else.

    The pitts of a product!

Just horrible stuff! I'm a tradesman that works with various materials. For fun I build model airplanes using light fiberglass products and heat film. I have a first class degree in art and draw and paint and love model making. I'm the guy you go to when you have a fiddly arty f@rty job to do. I lost my mind with this stuff. I ordered a roll and gave it a good go, watched chris fix and a load of other you tube vids on how to do it. did everything correctly! It messed up completely so I gave it the benefit of the dough and ordered another roll. All the care in the world on relatively straight windows and still a mess of bubbles and crease lines. The back window has a tiny cure to it so I used a heat gun, I use a heat gun a lot so know how to take care with them. This stuff does nothing but crinkle and crease up. I'm so annoyed with the stuff. Go elsewhere and look for a quality product because unless you have a beaten up van that's windows you just wanna darken off for cheap you will regret it.

  • For the right window, great

Ok, I bought this not really expecting to achieve a good enough finish. I mean if it’s possible for a few quid why would people pay hundreds right. Well after watching a couple of instructional videos I gave it a bash. Rear quarter light was perfect. Rear window took three attempts but was perfect..... until I wanted to use the window when it just ripped itself off. Possibly the trims around my car are especially tight (it’s a newish car). So if you’re using in on a fixed pane (van windows for example) it would be possible to get a satisfactory finish, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

  • Affordable tinting option!

Excellent quality window tinting. Do be advised though, some experience applying vinyl decals etc would be beneficial! I put the window tint on wet, working from the centre outwards. I also pre-cut the tint to shape using a paper template I made first. The backing from the tint is quite difficult to remove, but with a little patience and the edge of a blade you'll soon get it. This tint surprised me - I thought it wasn't going to be dark enough! However, once fitted the difference was night and day! From the outside it almost looks Limo, but from the inside there's a nice clear view straight through! Have a look at the pictures. Highly recommend product and will save you lot's of money! Thank you.

  • lost my sh*t

Was very tempted by the price, as I'm sure every other buyer is. Also reassured by the great reviews left for this product. However...this product made me lose my sh*t!! I attempted four different windows, larger ones, smaller ones, I tried pre-cutting the stickers to help me get a smooth finish, I tried everything to get this to work. But no, I cannot see how anyone can use this on their car to produce a finish even remotely decent. It was impossible to get more then 1cm sqaured of this to look perfect without bubbles, creases, lines etc. I gave up!

  • Cheap because it's bad

Tint does not unroll, even wetting the glass and film will not stop it rolling up. The film kinks incredibly easily, even by itself when it rolls back up No protective film on the non adhesive side, so the provided squeegee, which is also of poor quality, marks the back of the film Following the instructions to wet the glass barely allows the film to move around and also once dry, seems to remove most of the adhesive so the film doesn't stick very well, peeling up at the edges The film does not score or cut well, even with a brand new surgical scalpel. Overall, probably the worst product I've ever bought.

  • Excellent well worth the money

2 cars, quater panel windows of a honda civic and a Vauxhall corsa 3 cars sunstrip an still got plenty left for another car for the price cant go wrong at all, am not a professional tint guy but I was more than happy 😀 my mates was even happier of the job iv done an paid me 3 times more than purchased, would definitely be buying again. The role was more than enough even after messing up on 1 car and redone it again with plenty left over ....waw

  • Good film for a cheap price.

Easy enough to use once you figure out which side the clear backing film is on. Plenty of soapy water and it went on fine, bubble free and appears to be adhering well. Only slight grumble is it is lighter than previous film I have had, so might be worth ordering a darker shade than you think you want. Knife included was surprisingly good. Squeegee was a bit too firm but usable.

  • window film

i did both sides of my car in 30 mins i wish the squeege was wider but a brilliant product it stuck well too the film is not easy to separate which is good,,, as the tack is strong some peel easy but never stick and loads in case you make a mistake nice one

  • Better leave it to the pros.

Tried to apply it on the van rear door windows but it left some wrinkles. I've sprayed soapy water, pushed out the bubbles with a credit card (the supplied squeegee is too small) and used a hair dryer to soften the film to eliminate the remaining wrinkles but no hope. Now I'm left with "finger wrinkles" from the edge of the tints. Watched all the YouTube videos and they make it look so easy.
