The mini only has audio output
The range of Tibo products is growing so do a bit more research than I did. The mini only has output & is great if you want to convert your old analog CD Player into part of a multi-room system. Bare in mind there are some limitations. I have ceiling mounted WiFi speakers in another room, when you sync the Tibo to these speaker is does so by direct WiFi contact not via your home WiFi so if there are too many walls between the two devices the signal is too weak for them to connect. There is also a Tibo free standing speaker which has Alexa built in with this device you can then play music from your google account over WiFi to all connected devices. If you want to have input as well as output Tibo do have a device with this feature. So make sure you buy the right device for your needs. Final note Alexa Echo dot does not see the Tibo mini & wont connect to it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tibo Bond Mini Audio Streamer
The Tibo Bond Mini is an alternative to the Chromecast Audio dongle. The Bond Mini works well with the Tibo Android App, sound from the 3.5mm jack sounds rich and full bodied when played through a decent Hi-Fi. Set-up is easy, and volume can be controlled from the app. The Bond Mini is powered using the supplied USB mini cable, the power supply is not included but a USB phone charger will work. The App allows easy browsing of local MP3 content on a NAS drive however it does not seem to have a playlist feature. Compared to the Chromecast Audio it has not have digital audio optical output, and it does not work with Spotify Connect if you have a Spotify Free account, you will need to upgrade to Spotify Premium to use the Tibo which is a shame. A good product but the rating would be higher if the Spofity Free issue was resolved.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

OK for the price
This was bought to play through a radio via aux input, so not needing or expecting hifi quality. It does the job well, easy to set up and use. Sound through the radio speaker is as good as the radio's native sound, so I'm happy. And definitely no complaints for the price. If you have a hi-fi system and want to stream audio, this is the one to get.
This is a brilliant little bit of kit. In a tiny box comes all you need to stream from an existing computer or storage device into a hi-fi system, all controlled by an app on your phone. It sets up a bit slowly each time but as quick as the sector-leader and at a fraction of the price. Quality on my PMC TB1s is very acceptable given that the audio source is MP3. Setup of the Tibo not straightforward otherwise a great product
The only problem I had was using the 2.4GHz router frequency as it required changes to my router setup and and phone. This was not the fault of the Tibo but if it could use 5 GHz then the whole setup would be a lot easier as some technical knowledge is required. Cracking streamer and great value
For around £50 this Tibo streaming device is astounding. Very simple to hook it up to my existing hifi system. Quality of sound is extraordinary for this price. I mainly use it to stream music via the Qobuz app, or BBC Sounds. The level of detail, the depth of soundstage, and warmth, have all surprised me.
