    It worked well

I used this around my bed, this tends to make the surroundings dry as its a dessicant in itself. Keep it in mind when you use it. I saw one tiny bug dead by dessicant action right on my bed. And I also saw a bug roaming freely on thinnspread of dust that I added to my floor. So a little mixed feelings here. But I give it benefit of doubt.

    For The Time Being

This stuff is ok at killing bed bugs but does not get rid of them. I've used this product before in the past and it does put them off for a few months but the bed bugs still keep coming back. If you just want to kill some bed bugs for "the time being" so to speak and cannot afford an exterminator at the moment, then this stuff is ok.

  • Bedbugs, Look Out!

The thing I like about this product is when you put it down, it stays around for a long time. Many of the sprays that are out there for use in dealing with this problem evaporate over a very short period of time. If you happen to hit the bedbug when you spray, they are eliminated, but if the area dries up, the effectiveness of the spray ends and the bug population will rebound in short order. A little of this goes a long way too.

  • I live in an old rooming house

There are 11 rooms to rent here, one kitchen no living room. It's not partially paid for by HUD or medical. The rates are very high. Some prior tenants didn't have enough money for soap even. One can imagine the infestations of body lice to roaches. Roaches were easy for the professional spraying service. Six months every two weeks of bedbug treatments the owner has paid for and it's still going on. I bought Cimexa about 4 months ago and my room has been bedbug free ever since. I mix it with water as instructed and sprayed it under the bed. I used an empty half gallon milk bottle first for mixing. It looks like a layer of powdered sugar on the dark brown carpet. You'll want hand and body lotion because it does have a drying effect but it's soooo worth it. I didn't want to use it dry and have a bigger chance of it getting in my eyes and lungs but some do. One must have a spray to stream empty bottle. It does turn to a solid so spray quick and rinse out the bottle good for next time.

  • This WORKS! Be patient though.

I did't even know what bed bugs looked like until we had them. I did the research that suggested that most products don't work. I chose this one and although it takes quite a while, they slowly but surely dried up. I am glad I did not have to use chemicals or tent my house as our friend did (who probably was the source of our infestation!) I used the entire first container and after weeks, it seemed as if they were gone, but I purchased a second one just in case to have on hand or give to someone who admits to having bed bugs!!

  • Did hinder, but too smart to be killed by walking through it.

Cimexa worked to isolate the bedbug but was ineffective in killing it. The bug just waited until I cleaned up the product then came back and bit me. I will try using the bed isolaters to see if I can actually kill it.

  • A Godsend.

As many will tell you, this product works great even for bed bugs. With that being said, it does take 24 hours following exposure for your pests to die. Be sure to be reapplying to trouble areas to ensure their decline. May take several weeks to clear your infestation, and be sure to follow proper procedure to isolate items in your home you do not want to throw out or damage. Doesn't harm metals, wood can withstand some exposure time, but mostly should go into infested fabrics and nooks/crannies. Overall, a fantastic product.
