Great Radio with basic features that are becoming harder to find
This product was sold as a refurbished item. Upon its arrival it was in the original packaging and everything was in excellent condition. The radio was perfect for my needs. This is not a state of the art radio but it does have some tried and trusted features. The CD player being one feature I wanted to keep albeit these days most music is streamed or stored on a USB key. The radio does have bluetooth so streaming is possible if this is your preference to listen to music, news, etc. The fitting instructions were within the radio handbook so no worries there. The front panel is removable as an anti theft deterrent. The only observation I can make at this time is the radio does not come with a remote. The sales description does say that this is an option but finding one has been impossible. As the remote is designed to work with a particular radio it is not a case of buying any like remote and hoping it will pair with this radio. I have been informed that it is not possible to achieve a pairing. I would however be grateful if anyone has found a remote or worked around this problem. Sony are reliable so I am hoping that this radio will last for some time. All in all a great investment if you are not looking for a radio that has all the latest bells and whistles.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

What's not to like?
Try fitting one in a Saab 9-5. You will need some extras. Luckily, I had them all. Fitted today. all working, just have to figure out the Bluetooth trick. I like the green lighting choice. Also, I like the DAB. I even recorded a CD of some of my songs, because, I just happened to have a blank CD-R knocking around. Best thing for me is this works via the 9-5's steering wheel control switches. Took a hit on another brand of stereo that refused to work with the SWC bits. Despite it tuning in "OK" Two cons are, the trim surround and removal keys are a bit weedy. I like it. Happy with my purchase. Thank you!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

All I expected and so much more
I chose this particular set as it had all the functionality that I wanted, DAB, FM, CD and iPod / stick inputs Connection was a piece in f cake although I had to change the location of a couple of wires in the plug to suit the terminations on my cars harness - no problem!
