It's a small lock but the plastic coated metal loop is quite adequate, it really depends on what the lock is needed for, one should realise the cost ! It's thin and flexible, but can't be quickly cut even with really sharp scissors (I tested it) It's small enough to fit through rucksack zip loops, locker doors catches, thin link chain etc. And it's really light too.
