Don't throw away your Echo. Get a New Carb!
Easy swap for my Echo SRM225. Started on the 2nd pull and ran perfectly. Swapped it to my Echo edger which had the same problem as the trimmer (wouldn't start at all) and it started promptly and ran smoothly. No adjustments needed. Not much more $$ than a rebuild kit and a lot less time and frustration. If you're about to trash your Echo, invest $30 in a new carb!
