strong machine
does the chipping very good, I use up to 2 inch, 50mm in the chipper no problem.would struggle to take 76mm.Only one bad point if you top up the oil to full on the dipstick you have a oil leak comes along the crankshaft/ mainshaft. I.run it halfway up the dipstick and very little leak.Must be poor cranckshaft oil seals. Otherwise engine starts easy and runs well.,Have sent information to the suppliers,including pictures and phoned but no acknowledgment from them. Not perfect but not far away
Bought because the tip Is closed and the volume of cutting in the garden were increasing. I was a little surprised that some assembly had to be done, the instructions recommend it being a two person job, my wife put the wheels on, while I held it up. Given that we are unable to go shopping in the lockdown, it took time to find any 10w30 oil to fill the sump, perhaps this ought to be included? I've just cleared my first blockage and this took some time six bolts too remove, washers, spring washers and nuts, difficult not to lose in the garden. It needs some over centre spring clips instead to make cleaning easier. Pneumatic tyres are vulnerable to thorns, solid wheels would be better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn’t think it would be man enough

Great Chipper/Shredder
Does what it should do, don’t forget to mix your waste (wet then dry) or simply let it all dry out before shredding. I’m loving the equipment saving me money by not filling my Green Bin (plus no need to pay for an additional bin) and saving on the runs to the recycling centre. Instructions
Ok so should not be difficult to put this together, however the instructions could be a lot better in my opinion. That said a bit of guess work and thought, it works.
