Great cat flap!
Another cat kept coming in our cat flap, eating my cats food and making her nervous in her own home. She is also 14 years old and a little "rounded" and needed a larger cat flap. This was easy to fit, a great size for the larger lady and has stopped the intruder. The clicking sound as the lock released did make her nervous and hesitant to come through it at first but she was going in and out of it within a few hours. Good but caution on what size dog will fit through it.
Well made and easy to fit and set up but a bit too small for our jack russel. It is more of a tunnel than a simple step and that, combined with the quite loud clicking of the door release catches have put her off so unfortunately we will have to fit sonething bigger and simpler. Thought it was not fully working but it turned out one of our cats' chip had failed -checked at vets. Cats scared of clicking noise when it opens at first, but the sound of the food bowl filling soon got over that. Batteries an odd size but NImH available and there is a setting for this type of battery, good thing too as the quoted 6 month replacement period looks to be very optimisticwith more than 1 cat. The product was exactly as described on package. Works as told. Has been keeping other cats out. It has lost a star because when it locks and unlocks it is very loud which is not so fun in a small house at 3am. I do think this is a good product for people who want to keep out other cats or keep certain cats in. I feel it has given my cat a sense of security.
