Covers the ground really well
It covers the ground really well makes the garden look neat and tidy. Too early in the year to tell if it surpresses the weeds fingers crossed that it does. It’s kept my 3 dogs off the flower beds. The bags are a good handy size to use, not too big or too heavy. I love gardening but I have arthritis in my hands, knees and hips and I managed to handle the bags ok. Happy healthy plants and very tidy garden.
I have used Strulch for a few years now. I always put a layer of compost around the base of my plants in winter, topped with a layer of stretch. My plants in the garden seem to be really happy with this. They flower well and the garden looks really tidy. Very pleased with this product. I used to use normal bark, but found this used to go mouldy and lots of mushrooms grew around the plants. This doesn’t happen with Strulch. Good for your garden
This is a great product : It makes your pots and borders look really tidy, Is really successful at keeping slugs and snails at bay, and it helps to keep moisture around plants in hot weather and protects roots in winter. After a year I dig it into my borders and re-apply as it saves a lot of backbreaking weeding, I find I only find an odd one Remember weed the ground before you apply STRULCH and you should be really impressed as am I I only have to use weedkiller on my block paving now so your plants fruit and veg benefit. A message to Weeds and Slugs
This product has a very distinctive odour, have applied to New growth of Perrenial specimens in y garden in hope that will deter slug damage, l thinks that there is a good chance that such will be achieved. Must Have Product
I started using Strulch this year, and on my 3rd bag. It's helped in different ways, firstly it's reduced weeds where I've made a new bed, plus makes the area look neater. I also think it's kept the local cats at bay, but that's my opinion from what I've experienced. When used in pots, it's made them look neater. Brilliant stuff! I've been using this for some years now and I have to say that slugs and snails were the only things I could grow succesfully until I discovered Strulch.
