Great set up!
The kit has some thingsthat I may not use but if needed or wanted, they are there. The picture quality is fantastic and even ifI use a preset, they always come out great. A couple of things could be included in the kit such as an extra battery for the camera, lens ring adaptors to cross use extra lenses and tulip light shades for both lenses. Good for beginners but some of the items don't work.
I was originally looking for a camera body with lenses. I got those, and those are great! Most of the kit and the rest of the stuff is great, except the light adaptor and the remote for taking remote photos. Those two either do not pair with this camera or just don't work. If you're hoping all of the adaptations and extra stuff in the kit work - don't buy this. A Great Kit For Entry Level DSLR
Let's be honest, this is not a high-end camera. It is, however, a great entry-level DSLR. And this kit works well to get your foot in the photography door. I'm not a professional, to clarify. I'm just getting into it, but I wanted to be able to take actual pictures when our race team heads to the track. This kit has everything I needed to do that. The lenses are good enough to begin with. I'd recommend plenty of research when beginning to upgrade anything though. The little tripod isn't the most stable thing in the world, but there's no reason it won't work for a while. My only negative thing about this is the remote for it. The D3500 isn't compatible with the remote. But I honestly didn't even realize it came with the package, so don't let that be a deal breaker. Download the Nikon app and you have your remote. Everything about this screams value, and for good reason. It's a really good value. Nikon did a good job refurbishing the camera, so you have no worries, the lenses are good, the accessories are good. Very happy with my purchase.
The only complaint I have, is that the remote sent in the kit isn't compatible with this camera. I was looking forward to using it. But, for the price? There are so many things included that I can absolutely overlook the one thing. I got it 2 days sooner than expected, it was well packed and everything is is great condition.
