Bought to use at home, my 1st pottery kiln.
Had to wait a week to use it, but when connected everything as manual stated, when I went to switch it on, no power was getting to the kiln.
I contacted the supplier as per manual, and with a Skype call to Yossef, it was found to be a cable had come loose within the controller. This could've been fixed without help but we didn't want to void the warranty by taking the cover off with his say-so. Yossef went through the process step by step, and still couldn't get power. He advised me to send just the controller back and he would test it and fix it. As compensation for the problem and inconvenience, he would send an extra set of kiln shelf & stands with the controller. However, we tried the kiln one more time, pushing all the connections tighter, and hey presto, it worked. That saved the bother of sending it back. I have done the start up firing, and a bisque fire, the instructions to programme it takes a bit of concentration but it worked fine. Excited to do a glaze firing in the next week or so.
An ideal beginners kiln for a home studio.
On unboxing the kiln I found all the items well packaged.
All the small parts were stored inside the kiln, there were no instructions inside the packing, they were provided by email so required printing off.
The instructions were easy to follow and so was the setting up and programming.
Although this Kiln is not painted it does not detract from its ease of use.
If you want to paint it this can be done using VHT paint from you local Car Parts supplier.
Would I buy this Kiln again,,,, Most definitly. I love it. As the aderts say "It does what it says on the box"
