Hi-res camera at an affordable price.
The Amcrest 4k bullet cameras are reliable, easy to install, and competitively priced. Download a free IP address detector like, Advanced IP Scanner to verify that your camera is present on your network. The scanner will give you the MAC address that you can use in your router software and view software. I use 7 of these cameras with a QNAP NAS and their QVR viewer through their app, Surveillance Station. I use a 16 port TP Link, TL-SG1016PE POE switch to power and connect to the cameras. I've had them running for 3 years recording 24/7 at 8 fps. You can go to 15fps, but that depends on your bandwidth. If at some point, I upgrade to a 2.5GHz Ethernet system, I can ignore fps. It works fine right now at 1 GHz, but I throttle it to 8fps to give the rest of my network breathing room. Supply chain problems have caused a 30% increase in price from $70 to $100 this year, and the black version is not currently available on Amazon. I was happy to find a new black one for $69 here on eBay. I'll be looking to eBay a lot more for electronics deals in the coming months.

4-K Surveillance Cameras may be overrated
The camera was very easy to set up. I was dissapointed in the quality of the video from the camera. I would have thought that a 4-K camera would be much clearer than a 2 mp camera. I previously bought a 4-K NVR and adde this camera thinking I would get beter video from it. Maybe I will need to upgrade my monitor to 4-K to see the difference.
