Excellent but had a small problem...
This is the second one of these I’ve bought, as I was so impressed by the first. Unfortunately the tolerances were machined so tight on this that the shaft/seat post wouldn’t insert into the bracket on the seat. It would go in a couple of millimetres, but the seat could not rotate and the two pieces were very difficult to separate again. I ended up swapping parts between this drum throne and my other, so both now work but neither as well as my original! I expect they will ‘wear in’ and be excellent after a while. For comfort and stability they are truly hard to beat. I would buy another, but I’d send it back if it had the same problem. I suspect it was just that batch.

Good, sturdy, well built, comfortable and good price!
I was amazed at the quality of this stool. Really sturdy and well made. Really could have done with a few instructions as to the memory lock. You need to really tighten both the screws for the seat, not just the butterfly screw, It is super comfortable, firm and not too soft but looks like it'' last for years. Very happy and the price/to quality ratio is amazing compared to other seats.
